There is an Island in Jhelum called "Vichla Bela" near Village Pakhwal. Most of people don't know that there are seven villages on that island.
Previously, boats were the only mean of transport to the people of those villages to get connected with rest of world. But now, on private level some people have invested and made a setup like chair lifts in Muree. But this lift is controlled simply by a car engine in which First and reverse gear is used. rest of gears are not used.

In wireless broadband, the technology such as WiMAX & EVDO “evolution, data only” is targeting the customers in the market. Wateen telecom being the first wimax operator has more subscriber then the recently launched wordcall & wi-tribe, On the other hand wordcall & PTCL are offering Wireless broadband with EVDO technology.

The race among the broadband companies is still on the move, the competition in this sector ultimately leads them to provide the consumer the best broadband services at cheap price.
